Many new features in ProFM Heldpesk

There were many useful suggestions and new requests coming in from our users, so as answer to them:

We have been just released the new version of the ProFM Helpdesk internet service containing many new features!

Let’s have a short look at some of them:

  • advanced mailing functionality that lets users to accelerate the communication and feedback speed to any incoming requests
  • message board: just prepare a short information pane that helps service providers to inform their customers about news, important phone numbers, events etc. As it is an easily editable HTML box, you can embed pictures, emphasize information using the rich edit control we provide.
  • more e-mail addresses are supported at status change notifications: from now on use together your company and phone e-mail addresses to get known about important status changes of assigned events. It is not needed to be always on-line, you can get all new requests to your mobile in the moment it is registered on the go.
  • Setup your mail notification rules as it is in your customer contract. Each client can have its own email notification setting to all important request status changes.
  • Easier communication with the reporter: when something is not properly documented in a breakdown report, or just want to give a short feedback about a work, then use the new commenting feature of ProFM Helpdesk. In the new version there is the possibility to attach comments to all breakdown requests either by the reporter or the service provider. These comments are stored historically with time stamps and user names.

And many more new advantages that are worth to try and use by all service providers.

ProFM Helpdesk offical blog has been started…

We would like to take all opportunities to make our products even more usable than they are now, so that to help being our customers successful using our solutions. For this purpose we started a new web based service, the ProFM Helpdesk Blog. This blog is about the usage of our products, sharing experiences, questions from us and our users to us and our users. Our goal is to open a new platform, where everybody can ask their questions, and can get fast answers to them either from us or from other users.

Other very important role of this blog is to share new ideas, experiences of our users, which helps both of our development and the support of the work of other users. These new ideas, suggestions are the base information, which we use to plan our development directions, new features and modules.

We develop ProFM Helpdesk for our users and not for ourselves, therefore we would like to do it in cooperation with them, based on their requirements.
